Brian May is a British guitarist, singer-songwriter and astrophysicist, best known as the guitarist for the legendary rock band Queen. He was born on July 19, 1947 in Hampton, Middlesex, England.
Brian May began his musical career in the early 1970s as a member of Queen, alongside Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. He is known for his unique guitar playing, often using a homemade guitar called the "Red Special." His melodic and powerful guitar work has made a significant contribution to Queen's sound.
In addition to his role as guitarist, Brian May also wrote some of Queen's hits, including "We Will Rock You," "Tie Your Mother Down," and "Fat Bottomed Girls." His musical contributions have helped Queen create some of the most iconic songs in rock music history.
