André Hazes was a Dutch folk singer and one of the most popular artists in the Netherlands. He was born on June 30, 1951 in Amsterdam and died on September 23, 2004 at the age of 53. André Hazes was known for his characteristic voice and his rendition of the Dutch anthem.
Hazes started his career in the 1970s and broke through with hits such as "Eenloze Kerst" and "De Vlieger."
